Christopher + Alaura'S Wedding
You know when you just get a feeling that a wedding is going to be something special? That was the vibe for Chris and Alaura’s big day. They chose St. Mary’s in Syracuse, NY, for their ceremony, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The church had this timeless charm, with its stunning stained glass and classic architecture. You could see the love and joy radiating from everyone, especially Chris and Alaura. They were so wrapped up in each other, sharing those little smiles and glances that make you believe in romance all over again.

about the event
There is something incredibly timeless about fall engagement sessions in Rochester, NY and this one was no exception. With golden leaves, crisp air, and classic city charm, this session felt like the perfect reflection of Alyssa and Mason’s love story. We began their engagement photos outside the iconic George Eastman Museum, then ended the evening with a chic second location at Martine Cocktails, creating a beautiful blend of romantic and modern imagery.
The grounds of the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, NY are one of my favorite locations for engagement photos, especially in the fall. Tree-lined paths, historic architecture, and soft autumn color make it a dream backdrop for couples who want elegant, editorial-style portraits. Alyssa and Mason strolled hand-in-hand beneath the changing leaves, laughing easily and soaking in the quiet moments together. Their neutral outfits paired perfectly with the warm fall tones, giving their portraits a timeless, effortless feel.
Fall engagement sessions here are ideal for couples who love a refined yet natural setting, classic Rochester scenery with just enough seasonal color to feel cozy and romantic.
For the second half of their engagement session, we headed downtown to Martine Cocktails, one of Rochester’s most stylish cocktail bars. The intimate lighting, cozy seating, and string lights created a completely different mood from our outdoor portraits, romantic, modern, and full of personality. Alyssa and Mason sipped cocktails, shared quiet conversation, and leaned into the playful energy of the space, giving their engagement gallery a perfect mix of classic and contemporary.
This two-location approach is one of my favorite ways to tell a fuller story during engagement sessions, especially for couples who want variety in their images.
After spending the evening with Alyssa and Mason, it’s easy to see how naturally they connect. Their engagement session felt relaxed, joyful, and full of anticipation, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them again at their summer 2026 wedding. If this session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be filled with so much love, laughter, and beautiful moments.
If you’re planning an engagement session in Rochester, NY and love the idea of combining classic outdoor portraits with a fun city location, this is the perfect inspiration.

about the event
The wedding day was filled with love and beauty. The couple chose the Memorial Art Gallery as their venue. The location was perfect, with an outdoor ceremony overlooking elegant stairs. Colorful flowers decorated the space, adding a romantic touch.
Before the ceremony, they shared a moment in a stunning art room. High ceilings surrounded them, and the artwork added to the magic of their first look and portraits. They were radiant, their smiles full of joy.
Personal touches made the day special. Throughout their relationship, they wrote heartfelt letters to each other. These notes were written on napkins around the bar.
Family played a big role in their celebration. They included loved ones in many ways, making everyone feel special. Each detail reflected love and thoughtfulness.
This romantic wedding, filled with warmth and creativity, brought Luke and Alex’s love story to life. It will be remembered for years to come, both for the beautiful setting and the deep emotions shared by all. Their love story, set against the backdrop of art and nature, was truly unforgettable.

MEET THE ARTIST
New York based wedding & portrait photographer
I believe the most meaningful photos aren’t just beautiful — they’re full of feeling. I’m Kelsee, a photographer with a deep love for connection, emotion, and the quiet, fleeting moments that become lifelong memories. As a mom, I’ve learned how fast time passes and how much value lives in the details — a tiny hand in yours, the way they laugh, the way you look at each other when no one’s watching. With a calm, grounded presence and a heart-led approach, I help you slow down and be fully present, so your photos reflect not just how it looked… but how it felt.
