Chris and Hope met just before the pandemic, Hope always says her late grandmother sent her to him. When she was little, her grandmother used to tell her about a boy named Christopher to help her fall asleep at night. Sure enough! 25 years later and a few months after she had passed, he landed in Hope's lap through their mutual friend, Bree.
Fast forward about a year and a half - they were enjoying a festive evening in Rhode Island decorating a family tree a couple weeks before Christmas. Chris was handing Hope ornaments and as she turned to take the next ornament she found him on one knee!
