In 2017, Alex and Stephanie met at Tops Markets in Orchard Park. Stephanie worked behind the service desk and he was a shift manager. They became best friends while working together. Alex then got transferred to a different store and they kept in contact and eventually went on their first date! In 2021, Alex had an opportunity to go to NYU to pursue a masters in law. The plan was for Stephanie to stay in Buffalo, working for Roswell. He proposed a couple weeks before he left for NYC so they were able to start planning their wedding day and know that their love/commitment was strong. On August 14, 2021 Alex proposed at Canal Side where they shared their first kiss 4 years prior. He had their parents and her sister there to surprise Stephanie! That same day they boarded a plane to Disney World where they would eventually visit family in Orlando and make it to all 4 theme parks. Alex and Stephanie spent (almost) two years planning their perfect day and were so excited to share it with everyone they love!
